Sharon Pederson

Biography

As an international quilting teacher for over 10 years, Sharon brings a wealth of experience to the productions. Her years spent teaching students of many levels enables her to recognize the best way to present a variety of techniques in an entertaining but informative way.

Her five best-selling books have created a devoted following and many of her students credit her with providing them with not only technical skills but also confidence.

Sharon has taught all over North America, from as far North as Yellowknife, NWT, to as far South as Mexico (via a cruise ship), from her home base on Vancouver Island in the west, to Newfoundland in the East and many many points in between.

Her popularity as a teacher has garnered invitations to teach in England, Scotland and Wales, as well as South Africa. She is also often found on cruises to places such as the Bahamas, Mexico, Alaska, the Panama Canal, and the Mediterranean.

As the Producer for Nine Patch Media, Sharon uses all of her talents to get the best performance out of each teacher while keeping an eye on the technical aspects of each presentation.
